About Rose
Rose Wetzel
Rose passionately uses her platform as an athlete to educate others about health and fitness, and she seeks to encourage and empower people to be their very best. She enjoys being a role model for children, especially for young girls, by showing them how to be strong and confident in our society. Rose also has a strong desire to increase awareness around the topic of mental illness, as it affects not only people close to her, but countless others who are often afraid to seek support due to the negative social stigma associated with it.
Rose ran track and cross country for four years at Georgetown University on an athletic scholarship and graduated in 2004 with academic honors. An entrepreneur at heart, she started her own personal training business, RoseRunner Sports & Fitness, in 2005. Rose majored in sociology and enjoys finding ways to influence those around her in an effort to elicit social change for the betterment of society, including using her Professional Writing Certificate to write magazine articles and blog.
