Day 52

Today was a travel day after a few good but intense extended family days. I’m feeling especially grateful for these self-care routines on days like these.

Morning Stats:

Yang/firing up:

  • high-five in the mirror
  • stood on one leg while brushing teeth, to activate glutes
  • cold shower

Yin/cooling down:

  • morning mantra: “My body is rested and my mind is clear. Today is going to be a great day.”
  • 2 minute meditation

Day 50

  • high-five in the mirror
  • stood on one leg while brushing teeth, to activate glutes
  • cold shower
  • 45 minute run plus plyometric drills

Yin/cooling down:

  • morning mantra: “My body is rested and my mind is clear. Today is going to be a great day.”

Day 48

  • Two hour and 20 minute run

Yin/cooling down:

  • 2 minute meditation
  • five minutes of dynamic stretching and mobility work
