Yin/cooling down:

  • 2 minute meditation

Day 46: Gratitude and a Special Birthday

Today my daughter turns 5! What a joy to have her in my life. I am beyond grateful for her everyday, through the joys and challenges. What a gift she is. And what a wonderful teacher, too.

  • high-five in the mirror (it’s my new favorite thing – it’s hard to believe I almost forgot to do it today!)

  • hour and a half interval workout up steep hills in hot weather

Yin/cooling down:

  • morning mantra: “I find kindness and joy everywhere to go, and I spread kindness and joy everywhere I go.”
  • 15 minutes of dynamic stretching/mobility work/foam rolling
  • 4 minutes of feet up the wall for post-workout recovery

Day 44
