Morning Stats

Yang/firing up:

  • high-five in the mirror
  • stood on one leg while brushing teeth, to activate glutes
  • cold shower
  • two hour mountain trail run with a tempo effort worked in

Yin/cooling down:

  • morning mantra: “My body is rested and my mind is clear. Today is going to be a stellar day.”
  • 5 minutes of dynamic stretching
  • 7 minutes of foam rolling
  • 2 minute meditation
  • ten minutes of earthing/recovery for muscles by sitting in cold mountain river water
  • 15 minutes in hot tub
