Morning Stats
Yang/firing up:
- high-five in the mirror
- stood on one leg while brushing teeth, to activate glutes
- cold shower (well, my legs, at least, on my friend’s partially-finished outdoor shower on her new piece of land, nearly off the grid)
- two and a half hour run
Yin/cooling down:
- morning mantra: “My body is rested and my mind is clear. Today is going to be a fantastic day.”
- 4 minute meditation
- 6 minutes of dynamic stretching
- 20 minute recovery soak in cold mountain river water
