Day 30: Bring on Joy

How much joy can one possibly fit into a day? Is there a limit? All I know is that the more I meditate, bury my toes in the grass, and fill my mind with positive thoughts, the better I feel, regardless of the specific circumstances of the day.

Morning Stats

Day 29: Excited and Focused

Taking the momentum from a good race and using it to fuel my fire forward…

Day 28: Recovery Time

Racing takes a lot out of the body, so I spent much of today giving it a chance to rest and recharge, with the only “exercise” being racing Taylor up and down the playground ladder while she used the slide.

  • 35 minutes of earthing
  • 8 minutes of yoga/stretching
  • 10 minute using Yoga Nidra app
  • 10 minute using Meditation Oasis app

Day 27: Time to Shine

  • Raced a 13-mile Spartan race up a mountain, with 30 obstacles (and finished – my first podium finish of my 40’s!)

Yin/cooling down:

  • 10 minutes of mobility working/scraping/cupping
  • no social media until 10am

Day 26: Woohoo!

I’m grateful to be in Utah with friends, getting ready to do a pretty big race tomorrow!
