Two wedding in three days, with a 15 mile run in between? Yes, please! Work hard, recover well, play hard.
Morning Stats
Yang/firing up:
- high-five in the mirror
- stood one on leg while brushing teeth, to activate glutes
- cold shower
- motivational video https://youtu.be/BRjT__r6IfA
- 2 hour and 10 minute hilly run
Yin/cooling down:
- morning mantra: “My body is rested and my mind is clear. Today is going to be a great day.” (My go-to mantra.)
- 6 minutes of dynamic stretching
- feet up the wall for 3 minutes (to recover from my long run before heading to a wedding reception dance floor)!
